We built the Waas Allied Down Pant to keep us riding from first chair to last when winter turns unforgiving. Backcountry designed these insulated pants as a true midlayer for storm days, icy mornings, and long sessions on the mountain when staying warm is the difference between calling it early and chasing one more lap. Lofty 800-fill Allied down delivers exceptional warmth without excess bulk, while ripstop fabrics keep things light and durable. Performance knit side panels, gusset, and cuffs add stretch right where we need it, complete with a moisture-wicking brushed backing for comfort during movement. An elastic waistband with a drawcord dials in the fit, and when conditions ease up, the pants stow neatly into one of their zippered pockets for easy packing.
