The 3/8"-16 male top mount connects to a photo or video head with a female 3/8"-16 mounting thread. The bottom connection combines a 5/8" receiver and a locking screw knob for secure attachment to a baby stud. Removing the knob allows the adapter to be used as a 1-1/8" junior stud with a compatible junior receiver or combo stand.
